What if you do not have the title?
It is rarely a stopper. For a vehicle 10 years or older, Florida accepts FLHSMV Form 82137, the Derelict Motor Vehicle Certificate, in place of the title. Lost the title on a newer car? Form 82101 orders a duplicate through the county tax collector. We will tell you exactly which path applies.
